The “strange guests” who transcend time are coming to Nintendo Switch! Special Halloween Event: Elfin Clay × GREGORY Collaboration!
This special event will run from October 3, 2025 to November 17, 2025, just for Halloween. All 49 cube-shaped characters who once appeared in the TV anime and PlayStation 2 will join Elfin Clay 2, free to play on the Switch!
This time, all five members of the Elfin Clay Development team worked desperately to restore 3D data from over 20 years ago! Under the full supervision of the original creator, Naomi Iwata, the original designs have been faithfully recreated, bringing those nostalgic characters back to you on the latest platform, Nintendo Switch.
But that’s not all! Naomi Iwata’s supervision extends beyond the characters of Gregory Horror Show. The Elfin Clay characters also appear with cube designs to match the world of Gregory Horror Show. Don’t miss this miraculous collaboration between Elfin Clay and Gregory Horror Show!

What is “GREGORY HORROR SHOW”?
“Gregory Horror Show” is a horror comedy animation set in the mysterious Gregory House hotel, which stands in a different dimension.
Each episode is 2 minutes and 10 seconds long, with a total of 88 episodes across four series. It aired on TV Asahi from October 1999 to July 2001, spanning 1 year and 9 months. Despite being broadcast late at night at 11:55 PM, it achieved an average viewership rating of about 4–5%. The strange hotel manager Gregory and 49 unique characters gained strong support from many dedicated viewers.
The characters of Gregory Horror Show, with their distinctive world and charming cube-shaped designs, have passionate fans not only in Japan but also overseas. However, for many years, the series was rarely available and became a legendary work.
A huge crowdfunding success after more than 20 years. Always updating.
The crowdfunding campaign for developing a Steam game, held by the original creator Naomi Iwata in 2023, was a huge success, reaching about 20,160,000 yen against the 5,000,000 yen goal.
This long-awaited game project, realized after 20 years, is still being updated with the support of many passionate fans!
